Gretchen Johnson is a first-year PhD student at Georgia Tech. She earned a BS and an MS in Marine Bioscience from the University of Delaware where she studied control of harmful algal blooms with natural products from bacteria. Gretchen is excited to apply her microbiology background to studying the chemical ecology of marine microrganisms in the Kubanek Lab.
