Nikki Aiosa

Nikki Aiosa is from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. After graduating from USF, she continued to work for a startup biotech company as a lab technician assisting in developing disease-resistant citrus using CRISPR/Cas9 system. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Chemistry and Biochemistry PhD program. Nikki is interested in learning how to use analytical chemical methods to explore the complexities of the microbiome within cystic fibrosis patients.
